Hi, I’m Jordan Bell—a home cook, food lover, and healthy living advocate from Asheville, North Carolina. I believe food should nourish your body and your soul—without making you feel deprived.

Growing up, the comforting smells of my grandmother’s Southern kitchen shaped my love for cooking: rosemary chicken, hand-snapped green beans, and melt-in-your-mouth cornbread. But along with those comforting dishes came a family legacy of weight struggles. By 30, I was 80 pounds overweight, exhausted, and tired of diets that felt like punishment.
So, I went back to the kitchen—not for comfort, but for transformation. I began reimagining Southern comfort food in a lighter, detox-friendly way. Think collard greens with lemon and garlic instead of ham hocks, or mac and cheese reinvented with roasted cauliflower and sharp cheddar.

That’s how Easy Detox Recipes was born. I started this blog to share flavorful, nourishing recipes that help you:
- Lose weight naturally
- Support your body’s detox process
- Feel energized—without sacrificing taste
Whether you’re sipping a green smoothie or enjoying a veggie-packed soup, I want you to think, “This doesn’t even taste like diet food.”
🥄 Why Trust Me?

With over a decade of hands-on experience reworking traditional recipes into healthier meals, I’ve developed a practical approach to clean eating that’s realistic, satisfying, and sustainable.
I’m not a chef by trade—I’m just someone who knows what it’s like to struggle with food, weight, and willpower. That’s why every recipe I share is tested in my own kitchen and enjoyed by real people who want to eat well without feeling restricted.
Today, I teach cooking classes locally in Asheville and online, focused on:
- Whole ingredients
- Bold, Southern-inspired flavors
- No guilt, no fads—just real food that works
